The Learning Specialist works with students to improve their academic performance through content and skills-based tutoring.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Tutoring undergraduate and graduate students in the specialists' area of expertise
• Assisting with the facilitation of the CDS 1201 required tutoring hours
• Proctoring special circumstance exams
• Participating in and conducting orientation meetings, on-going training seminars, and evaluation procedures
• Participating in outreach initiatives and advertisement of the Center
• Working with Director on special projects

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and assistive technology proficiency preferred
• Education: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
• Experience: 1-2 years related academic or work experience
