We are looking for a Full-Time LPN to travel with and assist the Physician Owner to perform a variety of patient care activities in multiple pain management clinics.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must be willing to work in Louisville-area clinics every week
  • Must be willing and able to travel to and work in Evansville, Indiana 4 days a month (Tuesday and Wednesday every other week)
  • Performs Triage at each visit: Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Temperature, Weight, and Height
  • Obtains detailed and pertinent medical history from patient prior to evaluation. Uses nursing expertise and excellent interviewing skills to assure necessary information is obtained
  • Enters all pertinent patient information and notes in EMR software
  • Provides patient information to Physician prior to patient evaluation
  • Introduces Patient to Provider
  • Responsible for preparation of exam rooms
  • Performs patient phone triage and handles pharmacy requests
  • Suggests solutions to patient care problems and complaints
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications Education and Experience:
  • Graduate from an accredited LPN program
  • 1-year clinical experience preferred
  • Highly proficient with computers especially: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, KASPER, INSPECT, and EMR Software
  • Must be incredibly punctual. Great attendance, required
  • Active, valid Driver's License and state minimum coverage- vehicle insurance, required at all times
  • Must be able to pass state(s) driving history/motor vehicle check, required upon initial hire and may be re-checked periodically throughout the year or for suspicion or cause

Physical Demands and Requirements:
  • Requires walking and standing approximately 75% of the work day
  • Ability to sit for approximately 25% of the work day
  • Requires safely operating a motor vehicle to work from multiple sites
  • Requires 1 day per week as administrative time which includes constant sitting and minimal physical activity
  • Must be able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
