JOB SUMMARY: Designs training programs, including classroom lectures, online courses, and self-study sessions, directed at employees, and/or those who use the organization's products or services. Develops and updates course content and coordinates learning curriculum. Conducts assessment and analysis to identify new development needs and recommends training methods accordingly. Responsible for the creation of training programs utilizing functions of Instructional Design Model(s). Has experience with: Instructional; Design/Development Methodologies; Adult Learning Principles, and is able to contribute to a team in a goal directed manner
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Undergraduate Degree in Education, Computer Science, Occupational Technology, Marketing, Communication or related field. Graduate degree preferred.
Work Experience (Years and Area): Seven (7) years teaching technical systems training with strong curriculum development experience to include use of Instructional Systems Design (ISD).
Management Experience (Years and Area): Three (3) years designing/developing training programs preferred.
Equipment Operated: Dell Computers, Fax machine, Printer, Scanner
Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking); Writing /Composing: Correspondence / Reports
Other Skills: Analytical; CRT; Design; P.C.; MS Word; MS Excel; MS Access; MS Project; Learning Management System (LMS) course authoring tools and proficiency with LMS preferred. Learning environments and experiences preferred. Familiarity with website design, video technology, editing and knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods preferred.

Other Requirements: Must be familiar with the ADDIE Model and training program concepts, practices, and procedures. Highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and instructional skills. Must be able to perform with minimal supervision.
