At Pratt & Whitney, you'll be part of an evolving, globally diverse company that's moving fast to shape the future of aviation. Customers all over the world depend on our technology and the people behind it. As part of the team at Pratt & Whitney, you'll help answer today's challenges in powered flight while shaping and supporting tomorrow's solutions. Our internships and co-ops are designed to help build your professional credentials while also igniting your imagination. Opportunities exist throughout our company and are available to students who are motivated to learn and grow.

Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation, is a leader in the manufacturing of military and commercial jet engines. In response to the evolving aerospace industry, the Global Supply Chain organization within Pratt & Whitney is offering comprehensive internships. The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for working closely with suppliers across the world to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team fosters an internal environment that flourishes with utilization of the UTC ACE operating system, while handling supplier relationships to ensure they meet our quality and performance standards.

Are you passionate about supply chain and want to get some hands-on work experience? This unique program led by experienced supply chain professionals will ensure that our interns are learning, mentored, and intertwined with the organizations they support by having substantial work and projects. Our Supply Chain Intern program provides you with a flexible learning environment to help kick-start your career and provides us the resources to meet our workforce requirements for the future. We will provide mentorship to you by a senior supply chain team member and exposure to senior management and executives. This position is for an intern assigned within the PW supply chain organization in Connecticut, based in East Hartford.

The Global Supply Chain Intern Program is designed to provide students with extensive exposure to the worlds of operations and supply chain management throughout Pratt & Whitney's value stream. The intern program provides the opportunity to utilize traditional classroom learning in on-the-job applications. Assigning you to a specific function within the company organization will allow learning opportunities among peers. As an intern, you will integrate within your assigned organization and be given value-adding tasks and projects to complete throughout the summer, ending with an out-brief presentation to executives and staff. The assignments will prepare interns for full time roles in positions such as account specialists, supplier quality, strategic sourcing, material planners, or delivery assurance. A comprehensive training curriculum including continuous process improvement, EH&S, SAP, and International Trade Compliance are offered as part of the program.
