PAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY $11 hourly, 20 hours per week
Duration: Fall - September 9, 2019 - December 15, 2019
The Make-A-Wish internship program is designed for current undergraduate or graduate students who have a goal of being a leader in the non-profit sector. The purpose of the internship program is to help undergraduate and/or graduate students further cultivate their skills through a real-life work experience.
The Development, Major Gifts Internship provides an opportunity to contribute to fundraising efforts as well as donor cultivation and stewardship initiatives conducted by the Major Gifts Team, within the Development department. The Major Gifts Team is responsible for developing, implementing and managing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for individuals and private foundations in order to strengthen relationships, enhance engagement and elevate giving.

The ideal intern will be a Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor's degree or higher. Knowledge of and experience with the Make-A-Wish mission and service population is preferred. Familiarity with Raiser's Edge a plus.
