This opportunity is for the new graduate nurse who has a desire to become a Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Critical Care Intermediate Unit nurse. The training program is designed to create an environment which provides the new nurse support through the transition from novice to independent nurse. The initial clinical program will be 12 weeks in duration. There will be no time away (PTO) allowed or granted during the first 12 weeks of the training program. Must be available for rotation to night shift and any shift length (4, 8, 10 or 12 hours) for the duration of the training.
As the Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub community through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in our Nursing Education department. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. We are looking for someone with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i's people.
