Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems is seeking a CAD Drafter to work with our engineering teams to create detailed CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical components/assemblies used in the production of Space Flight systems for our NASA and Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) customers. Our engineering teams are presently supporting robotic satellite servicing missions to repair and refuel satellite.
Create detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD software.
Verify/check team members completed work for dimensions, materials and quantities.
Work with engineering teams to research parts and materials.
Must be familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Excel is a plus
Excellent written, verbal communication and customer interface skills are required.
Additional Skills (a plus but not required)
Familiar with Mentor Graphics PADS/DxDesigner, Cadence OrCAD, CAM350, and/or Altium software.
VB programming in Excel and/or PADS software.
