About the Position:
The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is committed to the guiding themes of program quality, balancing theory and practice and expanding our outreach and visibility. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Events Specialist (Administrative Support Coordinator II). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.

Under general direction, manages the execution of events for the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. Provides event advice, makes specific recommendations, and coordinates efforts to achieve the goals established by the college and the Centers of Excellence. Works closely with the development team to manage various Executive Council events (e.g., Summer Wine Mixer, Fall Reception, board meetings, recruitment meetings, etc.) and Mihaylo College events (e.g., Summer Golf Classic, Spring Economic Forecast, Fall Economic Forecast, All College Forum, New Faculty Dinner, Mihaylo College Commencement Ceremonies, etc.). Oversees Mihaylo College's master event calendar, event resources, and works with the marketing team to maintain various event webpages and marketing materials. Coordinates internal and external outreach events streamline communication and enforce event policies and procedures throughout the college. Manages the workload and provide supervision to a student assistant. Other duties as assigned.
