Job Description
The Best Buy Teen Tech Center Summer Intern will gain tech skills and on-the-job training needed to prepare for a successful career. During this ten week paid program, you will be exposed to core skill training, including communication skills, conflict resolution, customer service, and learn from a variety of experienced leadership. The requirement for the role is to be a current participant in the Career Pathways program at your local Teen Tech Center.

Will be trained in:
  • Front of store including front lanes, store pickup, customer service and with the Back Office Lead.
  • Back of store including inventory (store picks, carry-out, understanding Stock What's Available Today (SWAT), unloading a truck) and merchandising (down stocking, pricing and planogram updates).
  • Sales including clean and bright, selling skills, and Point Of Sale - generally refers to the in-store cash register system POS, in addition to spending time with a vendor expert and Auto tech.
  • Geek Squad Precinct including certified open-box, intake and sending/receiving units back from the service center.
  • Leadership team spending time with the manager-on-duty, floor leadership, and discussing STI, understanding labor and scheduling.
