Under the direction of the Director, Cardiorespiratory and Department and/or Clinical Supervisor, performs a variety of procedures appropriate to the patient's needs as defined in the hospital and department manuals. Additionally performs other duties as might be required to effect proper respiratory therapeutic care.
This is a regular part time position - 52 hrs/biweekly.
Education: Graduate of a AMA approved School of Respiratory Care
Experience: Good organizational skills and communication skills. Strong knowledge base of the cardiopulmonary system and medical terminology. Experienced in all facets of Respiratory Care, including Adult and Neonatal Critical Care. Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care commensurate with the NBRC credential.
Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements: Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support; ACLS and/or NALS preferred.
