Has a full time staff to manage all physician orders, insurance companies and other support you need while you focus on meeting the needs of your clients. We offer continuing education and support a collaborative approach with all therapies involved with each child.
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) performs physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by a PT to patients requiring these services in their own home. The PTA participates in teaching patients and family members how to perform various exercises, use assistive equipment and to follow the care plan. He/she maintains knowledge of current physical therapy trends, techniques and innovations to meet the needs of his/her patients. The PTA upholds regulatory standards and Jordan Health Services policies. The PTA performs all duties in accordance with physician's orders and under the direction and supervision of the PT.
Patient Care: Component Proportion 80%
Administrative: Component Proportion 20%
