We seek a Pharmacy Operation Assistant/Trainer in Washington to work under general supervision of the Director of Operations, The Pharmacy
Operations Trainer will travel to pharmacies within specified territory to
perform appropriate operational tasks to train pharmacy staff and to enhance
workflow of pharmacy.

Major

Duties & Responsibilities:
Proficiency
with the pharmacy dispensing system, including the pharmacy computer
program and packaging options.
Demonstrates
knowledge of medication preparation for dispensing including compliance
packaging.
Assists
the pharmacy employees with communication with insurance carriers and
state billing claims issues.
Performs
pharmacy housekeeping tasks and all other pharmacy technician procedures.
Aid
in establishing and training of appropriate procedures for growth of
prescription volume.
Demonstrates
knowledge of business practices and general operations of pharmacies
within region.
Able
to travel weekly
Exercises
tact when dealing with mental health patients and being sensitive to
timing, situations, and confidential relationships.
Assist
with pre-opening tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations
Other
duties as assigned by Director of Operations.
Training
of new sites
Training
of existing sites with new PIC, techs, drivers, ect
Covers
sites that has FTE challenges
Cover
vacations
Help
determine SOPs
Help
with remote entry
Assist
with bringing on new business
Rollout
and training on new procedures to region (COM, POS, Docuflow, ect)
Troubleshooting
in all areas
Maintain
and develop all training material (checklists, training tips, ect)
IT
assistance
Assist
neighboring regions when needed
Maintain
long-term relationship with sites and staff to provide ongoing training
Follow-up
training visits as directed
Maintain
communication with Director of Operations regarding any training issues
Represent
Genoa Healthcare in a Positive and professional Manner
Maintain
a flexible but productive schedule
Use
of company resources responsibly and within guidelines (Visa, phone,
computer, ect)
Extensive
Knowledge of: Pharmacy Dispensing System, POS, Pharmacy Wholesaler
Inventory Management, Clozapine P&P, SharePoint, GBIS, Dispill
Extensive
knowledge of Prodigy required

Educational

or Skills Requirements:
Experience
as a Pharmacy Technician
Graduate
of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred
Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency
in understanding prescription medication directions and terminology
Ability
to work independently with little supervision
Ability
to train and teach others
A
valid driver's license and good driving record
Extensive
travel up to 75% overnight travel.
