Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator - Internship

Job Description

We're seeking a college student or recent college graduate who wants a meaningful marketing communications paid internship at a mission-driven organization, serving those with serious mental illness, addiction and complex chronic health conditions.

Under supervision, the Marketing Communications Intern will coordinate, assist, and implement marketing and communications projects and other related duties as assigned. This is the perfect internship for someone looking to further develop their marketing skills (especially writing, design, communication and project management) at a mission-driven organization that strives to have a positive impact on the consumers it serves.

This paid position is part time offering 20 - 30 hours a week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researching Google Trends
  • Basic editorial/posting news and announcements on social media
  • Data entry
  • Updating print material (text and graphics)
  • Creating new flyers and promotional items
  • Updating clinician bios on company website
  • Assist marketing communications team with daily activities and tasks
  • Assist marketing communications team with daily activities and tasks
  • Assist in the copywriting, design and development of marketing and communications collateral, including newsletters, brochures, ads, social media, news releases, direct mail, etc.
  • Manage individual marketing projects such as new program and clinic marketing campaigns
  • Work with suppliers/vendors for projects and inventory management
  • Make web updates
  • Maintain a consistent corporate brand image using brand guidelines
  • Perform other tasks as assigned


  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Working knowledge Microsoft office products

  • Currently enrolled (junior or senior preferred) in, or recent graduate of a college or university
  • Previous job/intern experience in marketing or communications a plus
