What You'll Get to Do:

The Accounting intern will be responsible for assisting the Corporate Accounts Payable department with administrative and analytical duties, but not limited to, the rollout of new Travel & Expense credit cards.

Administrative:

  • Using Excel to cross reference corporate cardholder users with T&E matrix and to identify division groups
  • Identifying current cardholder status, working with confidential information
  • Assist in the rollout of new T&E credit cards
  • Assist in the creation of training documentation to assist corporate cardholders

Analytical:

  • Assist in reconciliation of current cardholder accounts, reviewing payment history and provide supporting backup
  • Communicating with employees about upcoming events regarding the card and expense application

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:

  • Working toward a four year degree in accounting or related field

Proficient with the following programs and skills:

  • Excel
  • Word
  • PowerPoint
  • Outlook
  • Analysis

Problem Solving:

  • Analytic skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Ability to multi-task, be organized and maintain strong attention to details.

Communications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to interact with all internal departments and all levels of management.
