PROGRAM OPERATIONS - FULL CART INTERN


HOURS: 15 Hrs/wk

LOCATION: Orlando, FL

Feeding Children Everywhere (FCE) is a non-profit organization that ‘activates people for a hunger-free world'. To date, FCE has distributed over 110 million meals to hungry people across the globe and has mobilized over 700,000 volunteers.

  • Hunger Projects - high energy corporate, church or civic social responsibility events that mobilize thousands of volunteers across the US to hand-package healthy meals for hungry people

  • Full Cart - a meal delivery service for hard working individuals and families to extend their grocery budget and connect them with life-changing career resources

  • Disaster Relief - a program that activates people to package disaster relief meal kits in immediate response to natural disasters

  • International Development - community transformation projects that include the improvement of education, agriculture, women's health initiatives and economic development

  • Micro-Farming - community farming efforts that make nutrient rich foods accessible in food deserts

POSITION SUMMARY

Full Cart is a mobile app that allows hard working individuals and families to extend their grocery budget. This innovative service is the best value in meal-kit delivery. The Full Cart Internship role is vital to the fulfillment and development of this new initiative. Full Cart interns will help lead the distribution and packaging of our meal kits through high energy, volunteer meal packaging opportunities. The main responsibilities of this role will be to fulfill Full Cart meal kits, package and label the boxes and full cart bags in preparation for shipment and distribution, and work with the Full Cart Coordinator to ensure delivery to applicants. The full cart intern will provide high level customer service through emails, phone calls, and quick responses in regards to any inquiries, feedback, and follow up from all Full Cart applicants and recipients. This position will also work to enhance, support, and case manage our career services aspect which helps to address the root causes of hunger. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and support all Full Cart fulfillment

    • Print Shipping Labels for all Full Cart fulfillment

    • Shipping and distribution of Full Cart meal kits

    • Labeling all Full Cart boxes and meal kit bags

  • Lead and host volunteer projects directly related to Full Cart meals and meal kit products

  • Keep inventory of all supplies and available product assigned to Full Cart

    • Meals (Red Lentil Jambalaya, Pasta Bites, Oatmeal, etc.)

    • Equipment (FedEx meal bags, Cardboard Insert, tape, etc.)

  • Provide quick response, support and high level customer service to all Full Cart applicants and recipients

    • Email follow up

    • Phone calls

    • Contact form Responses

  • Track reporting and analytics on the Full Cart Program

  • Help enhance and develop our career services programs through innovative ideas and initiatives

  • Work with applicants and recipients to help case manage their economic factors

  • Assist career services applicants through guidance and support during their program

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
