Supply Planning Job Description

Carrier has a summer internship opportunity for candidates interested in a career in Electrical Engineering. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience. Interns will also have the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in an effort to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

As a Carrier Supply Planning Intern you will gain experience that includes, but is not limited to, the activities and tasks listed below:

  • Identify and drive new inventory reduction initiatives
  • Track and drive project execution of identified inventory reduction initiatives
  • Liaison between cross functional teams to identify, set-up and ensure supply for retail business summer promotions
  • Initiate planning tool set-ups
  • Support sourcing initiatives and Engineering Change Notice requirements
  • Students will utilize computers for calculations and spreadsheets; SO99 demand and supply planning module; and JDE procurement module

Education / Certifications

  • Must be pursuing a degree in science-based program (Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Engineering)
  • Minimum of 3.0 Cumulative GPA and completion of 30 credit hours.
