Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP Corporate Marketing, the Product Marketing Intern will work directly with sales staff and key marketing team members to understand our customer and their challenges, implement strategies, and successful programs to support the business objectives and sales organization. You are excited to align and promote corporate brands, generating results and demonstrating skills in planning, project management, analytics, social media, digital marketing, web optimization and B2B marketing.

In particular, in this position you are expected to:

  • Collecting quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Performing market analysis and research on competition
  • Supporting the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

Product Marketing/Communications

  • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
  • Prepare program process documents for marketing rights usage, product image collection, abstract preparation
  • Create knowledge database
  • Prepare promotional presentations
  • Help distribute marketing materials

Market Research
Gain a clear understanding of our consumers, competitors and general environment to organize and analyse research studies from our Business intelligence group.

  • Perform market analysis and research on competition
  • Measuring success
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

Advertising and Promotion

  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)


  • Help organize marketing events

Sales Enablement

  • Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in classes focused on Marketing, Communications or Business/analytics
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software, sharepoint and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • Detail oriented
  • Reliable, detail-oriented team player with a customer first attitude
  • Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Project management skills
