Job Description

Primary Job Duties

  • Assist end-users through all available support mediums, including phone, chat, and incident reports
  • Provide first-level afterhours support as assigned
  • Provide training and recommendations to computer users to enhance independence
  • Develops and maintains training materials and knowledge base articles for end-users, system support technicians, and other groups in the IT department
  • Extensive involvement with data analysis on incident reports through the ServiceNow application, including frequent reports and analysis of incoming incident, request, and asset data
  • Assists business partners with selection of the software tools necessary to support their operations
  • Coordinate with department leadership on software deployment and evaluation of software updates
  • Routinely complete security and license audits to monitor compliance on company workstations
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience installing and supporting IT equipment
  • Understanding of voice and data network wiring concepts
  • Extensive computer skills including an understanding of Microsoft Windows, Office, and mobile devices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility for extensive travel
  • Ability to multi-task with strong follow-up skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • US citizen or show proof of right to work in U.S.
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Availability to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays consistently
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Ability to lift 60+ pounds consistently, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to travel when needed
