for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. Must be available for weekend shifts.

Essential

Functions :
Receives specimens
and acknowledges them in the computer

Rotates duty in the
Outpatient Clinical Lab and Outpatient Surgery Lab

Removes and
organizes computer generated request forms

Maintains
phlebotomy trays and working area in a neat and sanitary manner.

Performs bleeding
time tests on all age groups serviced

Trains new phlebotomists.

Follows hospital
and laboratory policies and procedures

Assists with
clerical duties

Job Requirements

Minimum WorkExperience
Graduate ofqualified phlebotomist training program or on the job training of two (2) tothree (3) months. Biographics (EKG) training required (can be on the job).

Minimum Education
High School Diplomaor GED required.

Required Skills
BLS
Phlebotomy orMedical Assistant Certification

Shifts
Part-time -weekdays/weekends
