Specific responsibilities of this role include:
This student will provide mechanical engineering and tool design support to Tool Engineering.
Create Tool Designs to assist with and improve production processes
Provide Tool Design support for ongoing Tool Engineering projects and other BU requests.
Apply mechanical engineering principles to create ergonomic, functional, and safe tools
Create 3D models and drawings to ensure functionality and manufacturability
Support tool procurement process
Education / Certifications

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Experience/Qualifications

Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Must have GPA of 3.0
Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
