    Duties

    Summary

    The primary purpose of this position is to accomplish a variety of tasks which support and enhance the Airlift Command Flight's (ALCF's) readiness and capability to perform its wartime and peacetime missions.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides Aircraft Operations Officer and ALCF Commander with technical support in developing and maintaining unit readiness.
    • Interprets war plans to determine ALCF tasking requirements and coordinates with wing/group and unit mobility officer to develop unit mobility plan.
    • Analyzes the readiness of the ALCF through intensive evaluation of unit training, mobility equipment status, unit manning, and resource availability.
    • Analyzes data to assist in completing ALCF supportability estimates/logisitics feasibility assignments.
    • Monitors and administers unit mobility equipment and supply programs to include the requisition, inventory, turn-in and repair of unit equipment using Supply and Equipment authorization listings and status reports.
