Our Nestle R&D facility is charged with driving innovation and global mastership in the baby food category to meet the unique nutritional and developmental needs of infants and toddlers.
We are currently recruiting for a Product Development Intern at our Fremont, Michigan location.
Each intern will receive a project assignment related to some aspect of ongoing research and/or product development related to infant or toddler foods either already in-market or being developed for launch within Nestle Nutrition. Interns will be exposed to all phases of the product development process, including benchtop/lab scale development, pilot scale development, factory trials/scale up, experimental design, analytical methods development, and sensory testing. Interns will work under the supervision of an experienced mentor and will be expected to provide regular updates, as well as develop and present a preliminary research plan, mid-term progress report and final presentation of results. All work will be hands-on. There will be multiple opportunities to interact professionally and socially with other interns both within product development and cross-functionally.
Six month duration. Start timing is flexible. Start date January 2019 or May/June 2019
