As a People Intern you will be working across several functional areas within the Talent Acquisition team, learning from leaders and providing quality support. We have purposefully designed our internship to be an authentic reflection of what it means to be an integral part of MOD's People team. This is achieved through our hands-on, 10-week long, paid program structured to build a foundation of industry knowledge while personal and professional growth is facilitated through collaboration, exploration, and mentorship. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from employees and business partners regarding policies, and procedures
  • Execute Job Fair coordination for new store openings
  • Coordinate postings to advertising boards as needed
  • Sourcing and sending invites to candidates by using data bases and social media
  • Manage the MOD Careers inbox and provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  • Support impact hiring efforts
  • Audit for the accuracy and completeness of documents
  • Assist with onboarding new staff

Basic Qualifications:


  • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree
  • An Understanding and commitment to MOD's Values
  • Tech savvy - you may not have worked in the exact systems, but you know you can figure it out!

  • Ability to effectively plan, organize and manage multiple priorities

Physical Requirements:

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
