This position will provide support to the Graduate Seattle and the Graduate Eugene Hotels and will be based out of either of the properties.
Assisting the Revenue Management Team to prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reports.
Learning and becoming proficient in Opera, Duetto, SynXis, Siteminder, Travelclick (Demand360, Agency360).
Learning and becoming proficient in OTA Connections: Expedia, Booking.com, Priceline, Hotwire, Hotel Tonight.
Research and correct Parity Issues using OTA Insight, TripTease and meta searches.
Maintaining the region's Revenue Management knowledge base - Opera set up (rates, policies, etc), SiteMinder set up and connection to OTAs. Connecting and integrating to interfaces, reporting tools, etc. Creating documents to standardize operating procedures. (Deposit/Cancel rules and implementation, Reservation Compendium, etc).
Assisting the Revenue Management Team to maximize revenues by monitoring transient and group production, ensuring that an optimal guest mix is maintained; - working with Sales team during Group Pickup meetings ensures that this is maintained.
Assist with Sales Team in maintaining an accurate record of BT accounts (booking process, negotiated rate, blackout dates, concessions, etc) Setting up BT accounts to reflect what the customer is asking, and fully utilizing our systems.
Liaison with operations to capture email addresses on generic BT rate codes to uncover options to sign LNR accounts
Assisting in the evaluation of group booking requests to ensure that the region is not displacing higher yielding revenue. Monitoring and maintaining Group MAR rates.
Assisting in the critical analysis of the impact of the revenue management strategies implemented by the region
Assisting in the monitoring/management of Duetto (RMS). Monitoring Rates and Restrictions to ensure revenue being maximized.
Assisting in the auditing of region's position in the GDS and other distribution channels, ensuring that the region's position is consistent with it's Selling Strategies; - monitoring rate codes, rates, restrictions, over various platforms, PMS, online, OTAs, GDS, corporate, etc. Utilizing OTA extranets to manage reservations, rates, restrictions, and reconciliations.
Assisting the Revenue Team in analyzing events/trends that may impact the property's revenue, as well as, adding Events to Duetto to track impact.
Conducting research that assesses the revenue management practices of the hotel's primary competitors to ensure that opportunities to enhance the hotel's revenues are not overlooked. Including Brand.com for inclusions and packages and OTAs for public rates and discounts.
Assisting the region's Revenue Team to forecast demand, and to assist in submitting forecast in Profitsage.
Assisting the Revenue Team to prepare for the weekly Revenue Team and Group Pipeline Meetings.
Assisting with the deployment of revenue management strategies and tactics through multiple distribution channels.
Attending all company sponsored Revenue Management related training programs.
Participating in Collegiate Revenue Management conference calls.
Work closely with Reservations Team on ensuring selling strategies are clearly communicated - Training Front Desk staff on what to look for, how to implement strategies, instructing on new policies, rate codes, or promotions.
Investigating technical issues and correcting or contacting support staff if issue cannot be solved in house.
Assisting the Revenue Team to meet and exceed budgeted revenue expectations, ensuring that the hotel's RevPAR indices are maintained or enhanced.
Maintaining the integrity of the hotel's yield chain.
