Certified Nurse Aide, Actors Fund Home, Part Time
Award winning Actors Fund Homes, recently named one of the best Nursing Homes by US News and World Report, in Englewood, NJ, seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to provide daily routine non-professional nursing care and basic technical nursing care under the direction and supervision of the professional nursing staff.
The Certified Nurse Aide will:
The Certified Nurse Aide will have a valid Nurse Aide Certification approved by the New Jersey Department of Health. The candidate must have a high school graduate level verbal and written communications skills, including ability to read and write in English and follow verbal and written instructions. Candidate must be able to maintain Nurse Aide certificate and complete 12 hours of continuing education per year as mandated by the N.J. Department of Health. Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation): possess the ability to safely lift, varied weights of 80-175 lbs, with assistance of other personnel or mechanical lift is also required.

ABOUT THIS POSITION
This is a part time position based at The Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood, NJ. The schedule for this position will be 7:00am to 3:00pm, every other weekend. The successful candidate must be able to cover assigned shifts on a regular basis, including holidays, and should be available to cover vacations/call outs of other Certified Nurse Aides on occasion. This position falls under the 1199 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Pay and benefits are provided as per the union agreement.
